Yes, the filleting shed has hot and cold water, a cutting board, knives, scales and an apron. Sea chart 41 (Frøya–Gjæsingen) is also kept there. Each rorbu has its own 400-litre freezer, and there is a separate shared freezer house on site. Titran Rorbuer is registered with Fiskeridirektoratet and issues catch certificates for customs, so guests can use the 2026 export quota of 15 kg of fish or fish products per person (aged 12+).

When is the season at Titran?
Titran Rorbuer is open from March until the end of October. Frøya has a mild coastal climate thanks to the Gulf Stream, and fishing is good throughout the season. Spring and early summer are strong for cod, saithe and ling (March often delivers big ling, April is known for trophy cod). Late summer and autumn often produce good catches in deeper water.
