How many fishing camps are on the map?
The map shows every registered tourist fishing camp in the SafeCamp360 directory, spread across ten regions from Rogaland in the south to Finnmark in the north. Each marker links to a full guide with boats, prices, species and fishing rules.
How do I find a camp for a specific species?
Use the species filter above the map. Selecting halibut, for example, shows only the camps that target halibut. You can combine species with region and camp type to narrow further.
What do the camp types fjord, coastal, island and open sea mean?
The camp type describes the water around the camp. Fjord and deep-fjord camps sit sheltered with calm water and good fishing in the lee. Coastal, island and archipelago camps give a shorter run to open sea and big fish, but are more exposed to weather.
Can I rely on the marker locations?
The markers use each camp's own GPS coordinates and are meant for planning and orientation. Always confirm the exact address and meeting point directly with the camp when you book.
