  1. 1Sørøya is north of 62°N: cod minimum size is 44 cm (55 cm when fishing with longline/gillnet) and haddock 40 cm. Check the rules before gutting.
  2. 2The tourist export quota is 18 kg fish/fish products per person from a registered tourist fishing business, or 6 kg otherwise. Ask the camp whether they are registered.
  3. 3Big halibut are often caught on the steep edges between Sørøya and Stjernøya at 80–250 m depth. Use heavy gear and release halibut over 80 cm.
